Are you feeling depleted? Read on to see how you can change your life by changing the energy around you to feel much more fulfilled.
It might take a bit of work, but remember that positive energy attracts more positive energy, and negative energy will only bring on more negative. So here’s a few ways to change your life in two weeks.
- Evaluate where you currently are at, and write down where you want to be.
Where do you feel you are in life on a scale of 1 to 10? If 10 is the best and 1 is the most depleted, what number feels right at this point in time?
Write down where you want to be at in two weeks. What number would make you feel happy and motivated to be at? Now begin to think of what you need to do in order to get to that number.
- Grab a piece of paper and list everything and everyone that is bringing you down.
Clearing out clutter from your life should be your number one priority. This is mental, emotional, and physical clutter. How many people and stresses are pulling on you right now?
Decide how many of these things NEED to be done in the next two weeks. Procrastination can deplete your energy, and often when we take a look at what’s pulling on us, we realize many of them we can cut out. Challenge yourself with completing the necessary items on that list and cutting out the rest. This will help change your life by relieving many of the unnecessary stresses that we allow to control us.
- Write down several energy boosting things that you would like to take on in the next two weeks to change your life.
The whole point of this is to get rid of the extra stresses in your life, so don’t take on too much. But find moments when you can add in positive actions. This should still be a challenge to yourself, but be sure not to over do it. These can be things like a healthy eating plan, a new exercise plan, daily meditation, or personal goals that you work towards every day.
- Challenge yourself to change your life
We make commitments to everyone around us all of the time, but how often do we make commitments to ourselves? And when we do try to make a commitment to ourselves, we don’t always hold ourselves responsible. Make sure you do what you say you are going to and take action. You’ll see a noticeable difference in four or five days, and when you begin to see that change within yourself and your life, it will help motivate you to finish your challenge and begin a new one!
- Re-Evaluate your life and continue to change your life
Try these steps for 14 days and then re-evaluate. Cross off what you’ve completed and see where you are at. Did you get a lot of things accomplished? If not, what happened? What got in the way of you completing these things? Usually you will find that it’s outside sources of stress that you let in that get in the way of things. If this is the case, you have an up-close look at what takes your time away. All you have to do is re-evaluate and begin another 14 days doing your best to focus on yourself and cut out things that are a distraction to your wellbeing.
If you accomplished many of the things on your list, good job! There’s nothing better than feeling like you’ve been productive. Adjust these 5 things based on where you are at after the first 14 days and start again! Keep building yourself up.
If we take things just a day at a time and break down our goals in 2 week increments, we’re able to focus more on the present and get more accomplished. This helps us get rid of procrastination and life happier, more productive lives.
Try implementing these 5 easy things and see how you can change your life with just simple steps and by taking control of your life.
